The Story of My Gin
My Gin is more than just a drink – it is a journey that began in the heart of the Jizera Mountains and Podještědí, landscapes that have fascinated me since childhood with their wild beauty and natural harmony. Each sip of this gin is a tribute to the places that shaped my view of the world and inspired me to seek the best in nature.
The idea for my own gin first came to me during one of my long walks in the Jizera Mountains. I felt the scent of fresh spruce tips and blueberry leaves blending with the crisp mountain air. I realized that these aromas and flavors deserved to be captured and shared. It was a challenge to connect tradition with a modern approach and create something truly unique.
Every ingredient in My Gin has its purpose. Juniper forms the base and connects all the notes. Coriander, angelica, and orris root add softness and depth, while pink pepper and grains of paradise bring a gentle spiciness. Calamus and myrrh lend a mysterious earthiness that carries traces of ancient times.
What truly makes My Gin unique, however, are the regional ingredients: hand-picked spruce tips from the Jizera Mountains and blueberry leaves from Podještědí. These components give the gin a fresh, forest character that evokes a sense of peace and connection with nature. Labdanum and lichen complete the story with a gentle aroma of resin and forest.
Why did I create it?
My Gin was born from the desire to create something that not only tastes great but also tells a story. A story about nature, passion, and the pursuit of perfection. I wanted people to taste a piece of my world – a world where the wild beauty of the Jizera Mountains and Podještědí blends with a love of craftsmanship and tradition. Every bottle is personal to me, like a message from nature that I pass on.
